From:    Frank Fish, Director of Training, Quintessential School Systems, for the QSS Users Group Finance/Personnel Committee

The QSS Users Group Finance/Personnel Committee invites you to join QSS in an on-line seminar for experienced users of the QSS ControlCenter (QCC) Budget Development module, introducing you to the latest features incorporated into the graphical user interface (GUI) version of QSS/OASIS Budget Development.  Thanks to the sponsorship of the Finance/Personnel Committee, there is no charge for this “webinar” for staff from organizations that are current paid members of the Committee.  (If in doubt, check with your IT staff to see if your organization is a current member.)  Staff from non-member organizations must submit a $100 check (no purchase orders accepted) to QSS, 2121 S. El Camino Real, Suite D200, San Mateo, CA 94403-1819 along with their name and the name and date of this webinar in order for their registration for this webinar to be approved.  Please refer to the message below for more details, and for the link that will allow you to register for this webinar.  The Latest in QCC Budget Development webinar will begin at 10:30 a.m. PST on Monday, February 25th, 2008.

This is the third in a series of QSS training sessions sponsored by the Finance/Personnel Committee during 2008, following the Introduction to QSS Control Center (QCC) webinar offered on Wednesday, January 30th and the Introduction to QCC Printer Manager webinar scheduled for Friday, February 15th.  You can find the complete list of training sessions at http://www.qss.com/Support/QSSUGSeminars.htm.

Please note that per directions from the Finance/Personnel Committee co-chairs who arranged these QSS training sessions, the February 25th webinar is designed for users who are already familiar with QCC’s Budget Development module – its content will be of an intermediate to advanced nature – it is not designed to be an introductory-level workshop.

We anticipate that some customers will want to register individually in order to view this webinar at their desks, whereas others may wish to submit a single registration but gather a group of end-users in a computer lab in order to view the webinar together.  Please distribute this message throughout your organization however you deem appropriate.  Please be sure to register at least 48 hours prior to the beginning of the webinar so we can make sure that your registration has been processed appropriately.  Once you have registered, if you do not receive your e-mail reply containing the web link and phone number for webinar participation within 24 hours, please contact your QSS Account Manager.

Please note è participation in a webinar includes both a video component and an audio component – the e-mail message sent confirming your webinar registration contains both the link for the video component of the webinar and the phone number and access code for the audio component of the webinar – you must connect to both in order to get the full content of the webinar.

This message is being disseminated via e-mail distribution lists for customers identified as QSS contacts for QSS/OASIS seminars, support and software releases.  If you feel you should not have received this message, please contact your QSS Account Manager so she or he can update our e-mail list accordingly.  Thanks!
