The QSS Users Group Finance/Personnel Committee
invites you to join QSS
in an on-line seminar covering the new QSS ControlCenter (QCC) Employee
Maintenance module. QSS
will be presenting two “webinars” introducing you to the
latest features incorporated into the graphical user interface (GUI) version of
QSS/OASIS Employee Maintenance. The first webinar, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on
Monday, April 7th, will introduce participants to various features
that are available throughout all the Employee Maintenance sub-modules, and
then will focus specifically on the Demographic (MA) dataform. See the
invitation below for specific topics that will be included in the April 7th
webinar. The second webinar, scheduled for 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 16th,
will build on the information presented during the first webinar, providing a
tour of the other sub-modules available within QCC Employee Maintenance.
The QSS presenter will assume that participants in the first
webinar have already attended the QSS Introduction to QSS ControlCenter webinar
presented on January 30th, or have a similar level of familiarity
with QCC (in other words, this will not be an introductory session as
far as general knowledge of QCC is concerned). Similarly, the QSS presenter will
assume that participants in the second QCC Employee Maintenance webinar on
April 16th were participants in the April 7th webinar, thus
the material from the first webinar will not be repeated in the second.
Thanks to the sponsorship of the Finance/Personnel
Committee, there is no charge for either of these webinars for staff from
organizations that are current paid members of the Committee. (If in
doubt, check with your technology support staff to see if your organization is
a current member.) Staff from non-member organizations must submit a $100
check (no purchase orders accepted) to QSS, 2121 S. El Camino Real,
In order to reduce the administrative overhead (and
expense) associated with the webinar registration process, the
Finance/Personnel Committee has arranged slightly different registration procedures
for these webinars from those that were used for their first three webinars:
Please refer to the message below for more details,
and for the link that will allow you to register for the April 7th webinar.
The Employee Maintenance #1 webinar
will begin at 10:30 a.m. PDT on Monday, April 7th, 2008. The registration cutoff date for this webinar is
Thursday, April 3rd – no
registration requests for this webinar will be processed after 10:30 a.m. on
April 3rd.
A follow-up message containing the link that will
allow you to register for the April 16th webinar will be e-mailed to
you next week.
This is the fourth in a series of QSS training sessions
sponsored by the Finance/Personnel Committee during 2008, following the
Introduction to QSS Control Center (QCC) webinar offered on January 30th,
the Introduction to QCC Print Manager webinar held on Friday, February 15th
and the Latest in QCC Budget Development webinar presented on February 25th.
You can find the complete list of Finance/Personnel Committee sponsored training
sessions at http://www.qss.com/Support/QSSUGSeminars.htm.
We anticipate that some customers will want to
register individually in order to view this webinar at their desks, whereas
others may wish to submit a single registration but gather a group of end-users
in a computer lab in order to view the webinar together. Please distribute
this message throughout your organization however you deem appropriate. Please be sure to register at least two business days
prior to the start of the webinar.
Please note è participation in a
webinar includes both a video component and an audio component – the e-mail
message that confirms your webinar registration will contain both the web-link
for the video component of the webinar and the phone number and access code for
the audio component of the webinar – you must connect to both in order
to receive the full content of the webinar.
This message is
being disseminated via e-mail distribution lists for customers identified as QSS contacts for
QSS/OASIS seminars, support and software releases. If you feel you should
not have received this message, please contact your QSS Account Manager
so she or he can update our e-mail list accordingly. Thanks!
