Products

QSS provides support and sales for Carter-Pertaine, Inc. (CPI) software in the western states (California - Utah). CPI software is comprised of SCHOOL/3000 - a fully integrated financial system and STUDENT/3000 - a fully integrated student records system. QSS supports over 50 CPI customers with the following services:

Software support contracts (with phone-in)
On-site training and consulting
Low cost seminars
Custom programming projects
Enhancements to keep the software current
Active participation in the Carter-Pertaine User's Group (CPUG)

QSS Proprietary Products

QSS has developed additional software modules which are complementary to CPI software, but are proprietary products of QSS. These products have been developed to address the ever changing nature of how our customers are using technology to address their data processing needs. These products are:

Financial Companion/PC. An MS Windows application that allows you to download financial transactions into an MS Access database for analysis/viewing/reporting/exporting.
QSS Client/Server Scanning. An MS Windows application that allows you to use your serial OMR scanners over a LAN.

QSS Developer Tools

QSS is primarily an application software vendor, however sometimes we develop something that other developers find useful.

QSDK. QSS Server Developer's Kit. A toolkit for HP3000 programmers to make it easy to create daemon and server programs for use in a client/server software architecture.
QWEBS, written by QSS, is a full featured Web Server designed for the HP3000 and is unique in that it does not require Posix or HFS support. It was written completely from scratch and is not a port from existing 'c' based servers. QWEBS is designed to be used by those sites not interested in exploring the depths of Posix and HFS (MPE/iX 5.0), but who desire to implement a web server using their HP3000 as the host.
