Key to Workshop Status Codes

• Scheduled -- This workshop is on the calendar, but is not yet open for registration.
• Open -- The workshop flyer has been distributed, and this workshop is open for registration.
• Low -- This workshop is subject to cancellation unless the minimum registration count is met.
• Medium -- The registration count has met the minimum, and there are still plenty of seats left.
• High -- Many seats are reserved, so fax your registration soon if you wish to attend.
• Full -- All seats are reserved. You can get on a waiting list for cancellations.
• Canceled -- The minimum registration was not met, so this workshop has been canceled.
• Completed -- The workshop was held as scheduled.

General Information

Time: 9 a.m. - 12:00 noon, 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Location: All seminars are held at the QSS offices at 2121 S. El Camino Real, Suite D200, San Mateo, California 94403.  For a map and directions please see http://www.qss.com/QSSMap.pdf. (Please note the following exceptions: the Payroll seminars on March 24-25, 2008 are being hosed by Sacramento COE at their offices.)

Cost:  Tuition for all one-day workshops is $250 per person per workshop - if 10 or more paying customers attend a workshop, QSS will only invoice $200 per person for that workshop.

Tuition for the two-day “Hands-on Linux for System Administrators” is $600 for one person using a computer, $1,000 for two people sharing a single computer – registration for this workshop is limited to 12 computers – QSS provides the computers for this seminar, and offers no discount off the advertised $600 per person per computer or $1,000 shared computer tuition.

Registration:  Announcements, including seminar descriptions and registration forms, will be mailed to each QSS customer approximately 10 weeks prior to each workshop.

QSS reserves the right to cancel any of the above workshops if fewer than eight people have registered three weeks prior to the scheduled workshop date.  This page is updated throughout the year to reflect any cancellations or changes in scheduling. If a workshop is canceled due to low registration, QSS will notify pre-registered participants three weeks prior to the seminar date. QSS recommends that participants not make non-refundable travel arrangements prior to that date.
